We let all these moments pass us by

Oh my goodness, I'm so fascinated by one documentary I watched on Discovery Channel that I came here immediately to blog about it. (Actually not really, I get distracted by facebook updates and kevjumba's twitter lol) I'm still amazed.

Okay, the documentary's titled 'Surviving Death'. That was the second episode that I've watched. Yes, second episode and I'm even more amazed. Actually watching this documentary actually explained what kinda happens after life. There are 3 true stories in each episode. Episode 2 was freaking amazing. First, was this 15 year old dude who suffered from cardiogenic shock. Actually, it's not really that. I can't remember what term they used. But from what I googled, this is probably the closest I could find. Here. There are probably repeated episodes, so if you have cable tv, go check it out. He was dead for 15 minutes? Okay he didn't really explain what he experienced after life. Probably he was just a kid, so didn't really interview him much. But his parents and grandfather. It was probably his grandfather that saved him, because he performed CPR on him before the paramedics arrived since he was a fireman, and that was probably the least he could do. Cause sometimes, a second could determine life or death.

Actually it's kinda a spoiler isn't it? :/ But I'm so amazed and fascinated! And for the benefits for those without cable tv hahah. Second story was this guy who laboured for some gas electricity company(?) He got a shock of 68000 watts. And it only takes about 100 watts to kill somebody. Okay, apologies if I got my facts wrong cause this is all based on my memory from what I heard form the doctor. So, he received like 680 folds. That's like, insane. It transmitted from his left hand, and guess what. His feet was burned. Like even his shoe melted. So, just imagine how much internal burns there were. But he survived, miraculously. And he said, he heard a voice 'Patrick, you have a choice to go to heaven or go back to your family.' and he mentioned he didn't knew who was asking him that. He thought, God maybe. He chose to go back to his family. And he mentioned that after he died, there was this full life review being played right in front of his eyes, from early childhood till that point of time. How amazing is that. He added that everything was calm and just, beautiful.

Then the third story was this pretty young adult guy that was riding some kind of tractor thing. And was racing with his other friends. Okay then they were racing, obviously. Then blahblahblah, BAM! It like totally crushed him, his skull and everything. Then blahblah, he was brain dead. But he could hear his hopeful family all around him saying goodbye. But he wanted to tell them that he wasn't dead, he didn't want them to say goodbye. Then they felt some kind of life being brought back into the room. So, they didn't give up hope. Miracles just happen. Even the nurses were all preparing his body for organ donation.

I think life is beautiful, somehow. It is beautiful how God created and planned everything so perfectly for us. Although there's some point in life where you feel crushed and so fallen apart, there's definitely a reason from it. Because God wants to put you in trial, so you can be stronger and learn from it for the better future. There is always a rainbow after the rainstorm. Even after people go through breakups and all, it's to just put you through challenges, just so you can be stronger and more in shape for your better other half. So, don't give up hope. There is a better one. Like how he even gave us a full life replay in front of us even after we've died. They described it to be beautiful and calm. Their description kinda made me not feel scared about dying. Because after dying, there's like no pain. You see your full life replaying back again. Then you go into the arms of Jesus. Like you're right where He is. There's no pain, no sufferings, no illnesses, no poverty, no hunger. It's just pure perfect right up there. No fear at all. It was also hard for those people who experienced it to describe it in words, cause it was like so beautiful and everything. One guy said, to choose the best feeling you've ever experienced in your life and multiply it by millions, that's how you feel as your life replays back before you cross over. Like, beautiful. Life is beautiful. This documentary has changed my thinking, wow:)

Just open your eyes, and see that life is beautiful.
